Young Men's Program

  1. The auxiliary organization for male youth aged 12 to 18. Includes both Sunday instruction on gospel topics, organized weekday activities, and occasional outdoor activities. In the United States, the weekday and outdoor activities are usually implemented using the organization and methodology of the Boy Scouts of America. Young men are organized into classes by priesthood office, which traditionally corresponds to age. Boys aged 12-13 usually participate in the Deacons Quorum, boys aged 14-15 usually participate in the Teachers Quorum, and boys aged 16-17 usually participate in the Priests Quorum.
