Who's trying to start fights by writing abusive definitions? (see the "darkness" entry for an example (one among many)) These insults detract from the tone and credibility of this site. It's fine to define terms that reflect negatively on the Church or its members, but keep it civil and professional, please. David Hansen 15:01, 15 September 2008 (CDT)
- David, there isn't anyone trying to do this. I pulled together these lists of terms from a variety of places, including some anti-Mormon sites (they had a lot of terms that I didn't find elsewhere). I have tried to remove definitions that are not objective or that were blatantly anti-Mormon, but have tried to leave in information that might help in creating definitions.
- You do realize that the definitions aren't meant to go on this page, right? The idea is to first review the term to make sure that it should be included (i.e., that it has a Mormon meaning or use that is different than non-Mormon meaning or use), then create a definition and click on the term and add the definition to the page. The idea is to have one page for each definition. WikiSysop 16:07, 16 September 2008 (CDT)
I just put another note at the start of the A section to point out that adding definitions to this page isn't exactly useful. I'm going to snag some of them and shove them into the page for the term in question. Should we remove the listings of the words that do have definitions? Blain 1758, 22 Sep 2008 (PDT)
