Bishop

  1. A priesthood leader responsible for the spiritual and temporal welfare of a ward. Bishops preside over most ward functions and activities, interview members of their wards for worthiness, call members of their ward to callings within the ward and oversee efforts to provide for ward members unable to provide for themselves.
